Future is bright for the CBJ. I thought the hit should have been a 5 minute major...I went to bed when they gave it a 2 minute minor. Bitter pill to swallow. |

They got hosed for sure ... but the B’s made adjustment and Rask got his mojo back .. you just knew that Pasata and the rat were gonna get going sometime.
The worst was having pillsbury doughboy on the call. Come nbcsn you can’t come up with something/ someone better ... sad. |

The BJs will be back at it next season. Good young players in the system and on the team.
Lots of draft picks to stock the cupboard. |

Columbus traded all their picks, they'll be picking in the 3rd & 7th rounds this year, traded away 2nd and 3rd next year, their 2nd rounder in 2021 is already gone and if Duchene re-signs they cough up next year's 1st too
And what good young players in the system? |

the power behind the throne I guess
You got that right !! Jeremy Jacobs is there leaning on the DOPS, and Gary Buttman.
Buttman won't make a move without assurance that Jacobs is in his corner.
He's created a team of thugs/bullies, and make sure there is leniency with any penalty/suspension.
You had to know when gutless Marchand punched Harrington, in the head, from behind, and that resulted in absolutely no punishment at all.
DOPS is as gutless as Marchand.

Texier, Sherwood, Robinson, Gavrikov, Bergstrom, Merzlikins, Tarasov and others. My spelling may not be perfect, but columbus has a bunch of NHL ready types, as well as 9 NHL quality defense men, some of which will be traded. Jarmo knows what is in the system, and it is a lot. |

Absolutely !! Just take a look at what Kadri got for his hit vs what McAvoy got for his !!
Jacobs took Kadri out for the rest of the series - at a crucial time. McAvoy gets one game - at the beginning of the series.
It's also laughable to hear Milbury on NBCSN. In the Boston-C-bus series, all he talked about was Boston, Boston, Boston . . . what they had to do to win the series . . . yadda . . . yadda . . . yadda. When Jackets did good things he downplayed it, and when Boston did something good, it was "what a GREAT play". You'd think you're listening to the Boston broadcast !

Yeah it's almost like Kadri deliberately cross checked someone in the face and is a repeat offended and McAvoy isn't. McAvoy got punished in line with all the other likewise hits ala McDavid and Eichel.

I know, i'm more afraid of what will happen in this off- season then a potential playoff miss in mid march. JD might be going to NY, the draft cup board is bare, same for the prospect pool, mind you guys like Texier, Gavrikov and Merzlinkis can come in on the prospect front. And worst of all, none of the big 4 FA's might stay (Duschene, Dzingel, Bob, Panarin). |

Nope, not saying that at all. My attempt was to point out to Jackets fans that were blaming the refs, that in no way whatsoever were the refs responsible. The Jackets lost in 6, ended on a 3-game skid and when they did win in this series it was by a single goal each time. The series was close and competitive, but for fans to blame the refs for any of it is absurd. |

It seemed like Mcavoy and Josh Anderson talked about it during the handshake and they seemed to be respectful of each other and I believe Charlie apologized to Josh. Mcavoy just wanted to make a clean hard hit and it went bad. He's not a dirty player in my opinion. The 1 game suspension is fair.
I was cheering for you guys. |

Jackets didnt score in the final game,.. not once. Penalty was called. Good writeup, especially love the clickbait title..
funny no one from columbus is complaining about the no call on the elbow to Backes face. Great series, good luck next year. |
